Frequently Asked Questions
At Jonathan Feder – Family Dentistry, we want to help make your dental experience a smooth, enjoyable experience. Here are some of the more frequently asked questions we get. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call and we’ll be happy to answer them!
Contact UsAre you accepting new patients?
Yes! We love seeing new smiling faces at Jonathan Feder – Family Dentistry, and we can’t wait to meet you. If you are interested in becoming a patient at our practice, you can learn more on our Patient Resources page. If you would like to book your first appointment, you can call or email us.
I don’t have dental insurance. Can I still come in for dental care?
Absolutely! You do not need dental insurance to get care at Jonathan Feder – Family Dentistry. We’ve seen how many patients without dental insurance wait to visit the dentist until they are in pain or have a serious problem, but we strongly advise that you don’t skip out on routine dental visits. The time and money you spend on making sure your teeth and gums stay healthy can save you a whole lot more time and money trying to reverse problems in the future.
How much do your services cost?
Every patient has unique needs so it is difficult to give you a specific number until we see you at our office and create your individualized treatment plan. We want to reassure you that we’ll always give you an estimate of costs before you begin any treatment so you won’t face any surprises when it comes time for payment.
Do you see dental emergencies?
We do! Dental emergencies can be completely unexpected, and we don’t want you to have to wait around for an appointment just to find relief. If you are dealing with a knocked-out tooth, severe toothache, broken denture, or another urgent concern, please call us immediately so we can bring you in.
What should I do if I am afraid of/nervous about the dentist?
Our practice works hard to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for our patients, but we understand that different circumstances can still cause people to have dental anxiety or fear. Jonathan Feder – Family Dentistry offers anesthesia/sedation options to help calm patients and make our procedures as gentle as possible. We are also happy to sit down with you to go over what it is your worried about so we can set your mind at ease.
